Georgia

Go for a nature walk and look for a pond scoggin, a ricebird or a loggerhead, keeping an eye out for a magofer, a gopher and gopher grass while you’re at it. Try to squirrel up a tree if you’re feeling nimble. After your walk, enjoy some Brunswick stew, a type of mull, and if you’re going to make egg bread, you need to leave in the red. When you lie out, the least you can do is say you need to burk. A hopping John isn’t a frolicking friend of yours, but a New Year’s Day favorite.
